Exponential Engineering, in partnership with Electrical Reliability Services, is in an ongoing relationship to expand Xcel Energy Substation capacity. EEC provides the SCADA configuration upgrades including programming and commissioning of the status and control points.
EEC provided configuration and installation support to Xcel Energy for the Sky Ranch SCADA Upgrade using Novatech’s OrionLX RTU. Designed and provided construction oversight for nine small substations providing power to pumping stations on an oil pipeline. The design included motor starting studies, protective device coordination and specification and ordering the mais substation equipment. EEC also provided bidding services to select the contractor(s).
