Mapping
Exponential Engineering Company’s mapping experience includes field data collection and digital mapping of electrical facilities in cities, towns and rural areas. We are able to provide field data collection using GPS and field inspectors. We use multiple tools to enhance AutoCAD for conversion into an existing Geographic Information System, such as ArcInfo, or to create a new system, depending on the client’s needs. Geographic Information Systems provide the ability to display and query electrical equipment such as transformer sizes, pole heights and classes, line sizes and lengths, and substation locations. The client specifies the level of mapping detail.

Whether digitizing from existing maps, providing complete field surveys, integrating billing databases or creating new maps from scratch, EEC customizes the approach to meet the client’s needs and budget.
